Guppy Grass (najas grass) (8oz cup)

This fast growing aquatic grass is great for breeding of fish in a community tanks providing cover for newborn fry.  Guppy grass can be floated or planted and does not require a soiled substrate to flourish.  As it grows out you can trim the stem and plant or float the clipped stems to thicken or plant elsewhere.   Guppy grass will grow quickly in low light low tech no C02 tanks and as you could imagine grows very quickly when provided with supplements.   It's color provides a nice bright contrast to other darker leaf plants or red plants.  Like all fast growing column feeders guppy grass will provide extra filtration of nitrates from your water.
